U Thein Myint has associated with banking sector for over 23 years. Receiving his B.E (Mechanical) Degree from Yangon Institute of Technology, he engaged in the banking arena, served as an independent Bank Accessor in his home town, Mandalay for 19 years from 1999 to 2018.

U Thein Myint also is the owner of ‘Ah Yee Taung Pickled Tea and Assorted Fried Beans’ which is one of the longest and most famous businesses in the traditional Myanmar food sector which lasted over 100 years.

Furthermore, he was elected by the shareholders as one of the Directors of the First Private Bank Limited since 2018 still served as a director of the bank.

His long-time involvement in the banking sector as an accessor as well as his rich experience in the Myanmar traditional food business brings a lot of new opportunities for the benefit of the First Private Bank.
